Keeping Safe During COVID19

COVID-19 Procedure Update: We Are Here for You and Your Pets!

Allentown Animal Clinic would like to thank you for your patience and support over these last few months as we worked to adhere to state and local guidelines to help control the spread of COVID-19.

We are happy to announce we are now scheduling appointments for all veterinary care services. This includes routine wellness exams, teeth cleaning, dental procedures, surgeries, and other procedures or needs. If your pet is in need of an appointment, please call us at 610-434-4470 or request an appointment through our website.

Your safety and the safety of our team remains a priority for us. At this time, we are still offering curbside services for drop-offs, pick-ups and prescription and diet refills. Our team is also following the CDC guidelines to continue to protect our staff, clients and patients and will continue to wear a mask and we ask our clients to bring and wear a mask or face covering for curbside services.

Please note that we have made some changes to our current offerings and hospital protocols due to COVID-19 best practices.

We have temporarily modified our hours of operation.

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Emergency Care

As always, we are here for your pet for emergency care. We continue to offer echo cardiograms and ultrasounds as needed to provide your pets with the very best care. Please note that you do not need to be a current client to take advantage of our emergency services. If your pet is experiencing an emergency please call our office during our regular hours and someone will assist you. If you are experiencing an emergency outside of our regular hours, please contact your local veterinary emergency hospital.

Curbside Services in Effect:

  1. We ask that clients stay in their vehicles upon arrival and call the clinic at: 610-756-8444.
  2. A technician will come outside to triage and escort your pet to an exam room where your veterinarian will examine your pet, while you remain in your car or outside.
  3. Your doctor will call you to discuss the patient's medical history and findings from the exam. Please make sure that we have a current cell phone number to reach you.

Online Pharmacy

Be sure to take advantage of our online pharmacy to have your pet’s food and prescriptions delivered directly to your home.
